I am a practising Pulmonologist trained at Sir Gangaram Hoapital ( 2001-2004). I have worked at various tertiary care hospitals including National Chest and Tuberculosis Institute, Mehrauli, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, New Delhi, Jaipur Golden Hospital, New Delhi and Royal Brompton Hospital, London during my ERS fellowship.
I have a special interest in Obstructive airway diseases like difficult bronchial Asthma and COPD.
I have experience and keen interest in tuberculosis and have worked in Multi drug resistance Tuberculosis patients closely while In National Tb institute.
By virtue of being associated with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital and my Intervention Bronchoscopy training at Royal Brompton under mentor ship of Dr. Pallav Shah, I have an inclination, adequate experience and expertise in various procedures as Bronchoscopy and BAL, Transbronchial Lung Biopsies ( TBLB), Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), Medical Thoracoscopy for diagnosing a case of pleural effusion, Tumour debulking, foreign body removal , rigid bronchoscopy for various reasons ..etc
At my work place and at my clinic I am routinely handing such cases and doing these procedures.
My clinic is also equipped to perform Spirometry-lung function Test( PFT).
